I think Emily may have just thought the idea was cool. Since I'm not a girl, the first female President doesn't have the same climactic appeal as it does to my six year old. But I still didn't get the impression that her teacher was teaching objectivity. Everyone has a viewpoint, of course - I'd rather Emily choose a President based on merit, not gender. Or just that Clinton would be the first female President (which Emily then took as an endorsement)?
